- Custody model: does the bot ask for a private key or seed phrase? Biggest red flag — prefer non-custodial or session-key designs
- Contract approvals: clear scope and a working revoke path
- Fee model is transparent and documented
- Public security-incident history and audit reports
- Origin of related contracts verified via factory creator checks (the same pattern acpsec uses)
